Models are a big deal. Other than practicing ahead of time, they’re probably the most important aspect of competing. Competing is an expensive venture and not scoring a good set of hands can be a real waste of money and your precious time. How good will your artistic creation look if the canvas is nothing less than perfect?

SOAK OFF GEL MANICURE COMPETITION IS HERE!

We invite all competitors to bring their UV or LED lamps and their favorite Soak Off Gel Polish and compete in Sacramento at the Nailpro Competition on October 2, 2012.

This years Nailpro Sacramento is the first competition of the 2012 season.  We are offering double points for all comp's done on site.

NAILPRO Competitions Score SheetsWe get so many questions about the score sheets and how judges determine who receives one, so I decided to write this blog to shed some light on the subject. At a NAILPRO competition, competitors are only scored if they are among the top 10. The top 10 is determined during an elimination process completed by the judging panel. Models are seated, 10 at a time, with only their hands showing beneath the curtain. Judges scan the nails—without touching the models’ hands—and assess which sets should be kept for the second round of judging.
